Abstract In order to reveal the content and structural characteristics of the existing psychological researches, and to point out the direction for future research, this article made a statistical analysis and explored the basic summary of a series of papers published by psychological researches during COVID-19 epidemic. The results revealed that 438 psychological papers related to epidemic situation were published and 34 high-frequency keywords were produced during the epidemic. The research involved four fields, among which the front-line psychological research of COVID-19 was a hot spot. In the future, we should make efforts on the psychological follow-up study of the epidemic situation, and strive to build a psychological research and service system for public health emergencies with focus on the global scope.
