Abstract The current study used the CiteSpace to analyze the research records about user experience among the elderly from CNKI and Web of Science database ranging from 2016 to 2020, The results indicate: 1) the research on user experience among older adults is mainly in western developed countries; 2) domestic research has not formed a focused field of application, while international research focuses on the application in medical health; 3) quality of life has become the hotspot of international research; 4) knowledge base of international research can be divided into 3 categories: design concept and evaluation, medical health, and emerging technology. These results suggest that researchers of user experience among old adults in our country could concentrate more on the design concept of specific products or services, medical health, interaction design, and elderly-oriented evaluation of user experience.
