| The Promotion of Sibling Relationship and #br# its Construction of Intervention Model |

Abstract Sibling relationship is the longest lasting social relationship caused by physical interaction and verbal communication. With the implementation of universal two-child and three-child policies, families with two or more children will become the mainstream organization of family in future. Recently, the conflicts between siblings contribute to family disputes and social contradictions, which is nothing new. Therefore, it is necessary to promote sibling relationship for the harmonious coexistence between siblings, social development level of children as well as adolescents and family well-being. Based on family system theory, ecological systems theory and social-ecology model, we review the current studies including sibling system, parent-child system, marriage system, peer system, community and social system. And eventually we propose the intervention path taking individual, relationship, community and society level as the starting point, and establish the intervention model with the characteristics of all-around, wide-ranging and multi-level. In addition, we expect to provide an applicable, constructive and comprehensive guiding framework for the gradual transition of population policy in China, so as to promote the healthy development of siblings, enhance the happiness of family and community, and build a harmonious society.
