Abstract The current Covid-19 pandemic leads to deteriorated social psychological environment for Chinese international students, social isolation, cyber violence, school shun down and other factors have huge detrimental impacts on Chinese international students’ mental health. The present study seeks to sort out recent developments in symptoms, influencing factors and intervention strategies of Chinese international student’s mental health. It is anticipated to deepen international educators, cultural psychology researchers and psychological counselors’ understanding of the status quo of Chinese international students’ mental health condition as well as help mental health professionals design and improve intervention techniques.
