Abstract:Organizational dehumanization is a cutting-edge research topic encompassing both mechanistic and animalistic organizational dehumanization, which exerts negative effects on employees. This paper systematically summarizes the internal mechanisms and boundary conditions of organizational dehumanization impacts, and proposes a cognitive-affective process model. Future research could strengthen investigations into animalistic organizational dehumanization, expand research perspectives and levels, introduce novel theoretical frameworks, explore spillover effects, investigate curvilinear relationships, and conduct comparative studies across different cultural contexts.
