The Association Between Family Function and Prosocial Behavior of Left-behind Children: The Mediating Role of Empathy
YUAN Zhi-fan, LI Wei-jian, SONG Sheng-cheng, XIE Rui-bo, DING Wan
This study aimed to examine the relationship between family function and prosocial behavior of left-behind children and its underlying mechanism. 530 rural left-behind children in primary school were recruited to complete the Family Function Scale, the Strength and Difficulty Questionnaire and the Interpersonal Response Index. The results showed that: (1)Family function significantly positively predicted the prosocial behavior of left-behind children; (2)Perspective taking and empathy concern played mediating roles in the relationship between family function and prosocial behavior of left-behind children, while the mediating roles of fantasy and personal sadness were not significant. The current study reveals the relationship between family function and prosocial behavior of left-behind children and its underlying mechanism, which provides new ideas for the cultivation of prosocial behavior of left-behind children.

The Mediating Role of Reading Interest between Socioeconomic Status and Adolescent Digital Reading Literacy : The Moderating Role of Parental Emotional Support
PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment)pays special attention to the influence of ESCS (Economic-social-cultural-status)on adolescent digital reading literacy. The study used the public data of 12058 Chinese 15-year-old students from Beijing-Shanghai-Jiangsu-Zhejiang(BSJZ) in PISA2018, and selected the variables of digital reading literacy, reading interest, family economic, ESCS and parental emotional support. In PISA2018, the digital reading literacy of students from BSJZ ranked first, although the ESCS of students’ families was low, it had a great impact on adolescent digital reading literacy. Further research found that: ESCS had a significant positive predictive effect on adolescent digital reading literacy; reading interest played a partial mediating role; parents’ emotional support negatively moderate the second half of ESCS→ reading interest → digital reading literacy, and high parental emotional support played a protective role in the adolescent digital reading literacy with low learning interest. The study provided enlightenment for the current family how to improve their children’s digital reading literacy, and put forward relevant suggestions for the family how to collaboratively improve the disadvantaged adolescent digital reading literacy with school and society.

The Relationship between Bullying Victimization on Middle School Students’ Depression: Roles of Sense of Security and Self-esteem
The present study explored the relationship among bullying victimization, sense of security, self-esteem and depression, by surveying 978 middle school students. The results showed that: (1) There is a significant correlation between bullying victimization, sense of security, self-esteem, and depression; (2) Bullying victimization can directly predicts depression, and it can also be through the mediating effect of sense of security, self-esteem, and their chain mediation. These findings have important theoretical value for deepening understanding the mechanism of bullying victimization on depression and have practical implications for preventing middle school students’ depression problems.

The Change Trends of Mobile Phone Addiction Among Chinese College Students and Macro-social Influencing Factors
PENG Hai-yun, QIU Fan-shuo, LIU Hui-tao, LIANG Xin, WANG Jin-rui, XIN Su-fei
To explore the trajectory of changes in college students’ mobile phone addiction (MPA) and its social correlates, this study conducted a cross-temporal meta-analysis of 98 papers to investigate the changes and influencing factors of college students’ MPA during 2010-2020. Results showed that: (1) The score of MPA was significantly positively correlated with year; (2) The changes of six social indicators, including social connectedness and overall threat were key predicting factors for the increase in MPA among college students. In conclusion, the present study discusses the effect of social change on college students’ MPA, and provides a broader vision for the environment intervention of college students’ MPA from the macro-social perspective.

Influencing factors of eye movement patterns in facial expression recognition
It is of great significance for humans to recognize facial expression information quickly and accurately. The key to the study of facial expression recognition is whether researchers can find appropriate index to investigate the facial expression recognitionprocess.Recently, eye-tracking technique in facial expression recognition has been attracting a lot of interest because of its high sensitivity in tracking the movement of fixations and the advantage of high temporal resolution. Previous studies have shown that the eye movement pattern of facial expression recognition is affected by many factors, but to our knowledge, no systematic review of relevant studies and their influencing factors has been published. This paper summarizes the influencing factors of eye movement pattern in facial expression recognition, and suggests that the eye movement pattern is mainly influenced by facial configural information, cognition factors and emotionrecognition disorder factors. Combined with these three factors, this paper points out the problems existing in the existing research, and provides new suggestions for future research.

The Intensity of Sadness:Emotional Victim Effect in Case
AI Juan
Emotional victim effect is that the emotionality of a victim's demeanor affects perceived credibility, a victim who behaves in an emotionally agitated manner, with clear signs of discomfort, tends to be believed more readily and is more likely to be considered a ‘real’ victim. Emotional victim effect can be explained with reference to observers’ stereotypical expectations about how victims normally behave, arouses the observer's sympathy. Many factors from victims and observers will affect the actual effect. Future research needs to pay more attention to the complex impact of the emotional changes of victims and observers, as well as case related factors on the emotional victim effect, and explore effective strategies to reduce this effect.

The Neural Mechanisms of Aesthetic Judgment and Sense of Beauty
WANG Ting-ting
Aesthetic judgment refers to the evaluation process during appreciation which is based on the perception of aesthetic objects and the standards of aesthetic subjects. Sense of beauty refers to the detached mental pleasure induced by beautiful things. For aesthetic judgment, current neuroaesthetic studies mainly focused on its underlying brain activity, time process, and features (subjective experience and empathy). For sense of beauty, current neuroaesthetic studies mainly focused on its underlying brain activity, time process and features (rewarding and unconscious). The similarity and difference between aesthetic judgment and sense of beauty was discussed. Future studies should pay more attention to explore the common and different neural mechanisms of various aesthetic judgments, the relations between the rewarding nature and evolutionary, the mechanism of unconscious beauty and the application of current results.

The Shaping of Driving-related Risk Avoidance Behavior: Solutions from Reinforcement Theory
DENG Fang, ZHANG Xin-yu, GUO Yu-xi, LIANG Jia-wen, LI Wen-min, Yuan-xiu ZHAO, GAO Zai-feng
There are many types of driving-related risks with various characteristics and high randomness. The core problem to be solved is how to provide a unified solution to all possible risks and give full play to the driver's initiative to achieve active avoidance. Based on the reinforcement theory, we adopted the token economy technique, exerting positive reinforcement and negative punishment for shaping exogenous risks (e.g., a sudden drop from other objects) and endogenous risks (e.g., overspeed) avoidance behavior respectively. We found that the token economy can effectively increase safe driving behaviors regardless of whether facing an endogenous risk (e.g., overspeed) or an exogenous risk (e.g., a sudden drop from other objects). Moreover, risky-level matched token economy exhibited better performance than consistently high token economy and consistently low token economy. This project conforms to the international development trend of traffic safety management and has high applicability and feasibility.
